Description

Name: Stanley

Universe: Donkey Kong

Entrance: An 8-bit version of Stanley runs onstage then transforms into a 3D version of Stanley. He gives a thumbs up to the camera.

B- Bug Spray- Stanley sprays a puff of bug spray forward. This bug spray deals slight DMG (only 3% per spray) but pushes opponents a short distance away. This spray can be used rapidly, but the puffs don’t push opponents to far away so use it wisely. You can also spray upward or downward (downward only if in the air), deals 6% DMG if shot upward (reference to DK3).

Side B- Bee Hive- Stanley throws a bee hive forward at an arc, which can be controlled like Yoshi’s up special. The bee hive deals 5% DMG, and also deals some splash DMG to opponents when the hive breaks, sending tiny combs out as it breaks. If the bee hive breaks by hitting an opponent, it has a 40% chance of causing bees to swarm the opponent much like a shorter version of the bee hive item. There is a 5 second cool down to this attack, but if bees come out of the nest there is a 10 second cool down.

Up B- Ladder Climb- An 8 bit ladder from Donkey Kong appears and Stanley climbs quickly up it. The ladder is about as tall as Mario’s Up B attack. After Stanley reaches the peak height he jumps off of it and sends it falling straight down until it hits something and giving his an extra jump. The ladder deals 5% DMG if it hits someone and can deal a meteor strike if the opponent’s DMG is high enough.

Down B- Piranha Plant Snap- A new original move to Stanley, due to him being a bug killer him having a piranha plant seems natural. Similar to a Venus fly trap, Stanley takes out a piranha plant pot and the piranha plant launches its head/neck forward in an attempt to bite an opponent. The piranha plant can also eat oncoming projectiles, but this takes great timing. If the plant eats a projectile attack, it gobbles it up then spits out a quick moving homing fireball forward.

Final Smash- Bug Swarm- Stanley looks up as multiple bees nests fly down onto the stage and swarm the opponents. These bees cause a string of constant DMG to opponents, like the bee hive item. The bees fly around opponents for about 10 seconds before dispersing, but while they are swarming Stanley’s standard special is changed to a super powered version of the bug spray that deals 15% DMG and great knockback to opponents with bugs around them. The bugs disperse when hit twice with the bug spray or if an opponent is KO’ed, but allow for Stanley to have more power to his bug spray weapon, and any smash attacks that use the spray attack.

Taunt 1- A 8-bit bee buzzes around Stanley and he sprays it away.
Taunt 2- Stanley takes out a beehive and spins it like a basketball.
Taunt 3- Stanley turns into his 8-bit self for a second and performs a small jump before turning back to his 3D self.

I'd gladly accept Stanley as a fighter, or at least an assist trophy. :D
