Description
Name: Mr. AR
Universe: AR Games
Entrance: A yellow box plops down on the stage then stands up, and gets ready to fight.
Specials
B- AR Shot- A small target appears infront of Mr. AR, hold B to control where the shot goes (for 3 seconds before he automatically fires). After releasing B, Mr. AR fires a quick moving medium sized orb at the target. This shot, inspired by AR games ball shooting mechanic, deals 6% DMG and minimal knockback. It also has a high chance of tripping opponents who are walking, much like how they knock over Mr. AR in his own game.
Side B- Archery Shot- Out of Mr. AR’s box body, he shoots out a target at an arch. The target travels about 4 character lengths (Mario size) forward, before crashing and breaking on the ground. If it makes contact with an opponent, Mr. AR quickly fires 3 rapid fire quick arrows from his box body. These arrows travel towards the opponent who was hit with the target. The target deals 6% DMG, and the arrows each deal 3%, with the last arrow dealing the most knockback.
Up B- Golf Shot- A large pool cue appears behind Mr. AR and shoots him upward at a diagonal angle. This shot fires Mr. AR a reasonable distance upward (about as high as Rosalina’s up special) and can deal DMG if he makes contact with an opponent while being shot upward.
Down B- AR Card- Mr. AR spits out an AR card of a famous Nintendo character, which transforms into a 3D character once it hits the ground. You can generate one of 4 different characters, the models are very similar to what they are on the AR card. There is a 5 second cool down to each AR card.
- Mario- An AR Mario appears and fires two fireballs forward before disappearing.
- Samus- AR Samus appears and fires a super missile forward.
- Mii- A random Mii from your Mii Plaza appears out of the AR card and performs a large cartwheel flip forward. This cartwheel is performed at an arc, and can either launch opponents downward while dealing DMG, or bury opponents in the ground if they are walking. After the Mii hits the ground, it disappears.
- Toon Link- AR Toon Link appears and leaps forward, performing a jump attack.
Final Smash- AR Dragon- Mr. AR’s box shape opens, and from it a giant AR dragon appears and lunges out forward wherever Mr. AR was standing in an attempt to catch an opponent. The dragon’s reach is impressive, able to reach more than half way the length of Final Destination, and it is large so it can be difficult to dodge. After catching an opponent(s), the dragon munches them up, then lets out a roar as its stomach explodes (much like when you defeat it in AR games), this explosion launches opponents. After opponents receive their DMG (45% DMG, plus explosion effect) the dragon crumples and is sucked back into the box that is Mr. AR. After that, he jumps happily and gets back into the fight.
Taunt 1- Mr. AR gets shot with an AR ball and falls over on his back, then gets up.
Taunt 2- Mr. AR jumps up and down gleefully.
Taunt 3- Mr. AR poses at the camera (kicking one foot out and balancing on the other, looking happy) and a camera snap can be heard.
Defeat Pose- The lid on Mr. AR’s box opens and closes, as though he is clapping.
Victory Pose 1- Mr. AR casts out a line from a fishing rod popping out of his box and reels in a fish.
Victory Pose 2- Mr. AR jumps up and down gleefully, then spins and poses for the camera.
Victory Pose 3- Mr. AR is seen laying down on a pillow, much like in the star pics AR Games selection, sleeping after the match.
