Description

Name: Geno

Universe: Mario

Entrance: A small wooden doll is seen motionless onstage, when suddenly a bright star like creature circles the doll and enters it through the doll’s open mouth. The eyes of the doll light up and it comes to life, Geno is now ready to fight!

B- Geno Beam- Geno points his arm forward which turns into a sort of wooden cannon, and starts to gather energy. Hold B to charge up this attack in order to deal more DMG. As Geno charges the attack, red stars will appear above his head every 1.5 seconds, meaning the attack is getting stronger. With each star (up to 3 stars) the beam deals more DMG and knockback (8% for one star, 16% for two stars, 24% for three stars). However, the attack still charges after hitting 3 stars, but the charge gets reversed. If you charge past getting 3 stars the stars will go away one by one until you are back down to 1 star.

Side B- Geno Whirl- Geno materializes a disc of light from his cape and tosses it straight forward very quickly, about the same speed as the shuriken attack for the Mii Fighter. The disk has an odd attribute where the further the disc goes the more DMG it will cause opponents, and the closer the disk is to Geno the less it will deal. The disc can deal anywhere from 12%-25% depending on how far it travels before hitting an opponent. Only one disc can be in play at a time, along with that if you press B right as the disc hits an opponent, the numbers “9,999” will appear above the opponents head and cause a decent knockback force. Otherwise the disc deals no knockback, but causes opponents to flinch.

Up B- Geno Boost- Geno lifts his hands upward and is carried straight upward into the sky by magic red arrows. As Geno travels further upward arrows will appear, until he has 4 red arrows. Once he reaches his peak height (about as high as Sonic’s recovery special, maybe a little higher) the forth arrow appears and Geno performs a spin, making the arrows disappear and Geno fall back downward, but he is still able to use aerial attacks but not specials. The special deals no DMG, but does have a technical aspect. If you press B right as the forth arrow is appearing, while Geno is doing his spin the words “ATK UP” will appear above his head, increasing his standard attack power slightly for the next 10 seconds. Along with that, if an opponent touches Geno while he is performing his spin the words “ATK DOWN” will appear above their heads, decreasing the power of their standard attacks for the next 10 seconds.

Down B- Geno Blast- Chargeable attack, Geno lifts his hands upward while charging the attack. As he charges the attack, over the course of a few seconds’ three red stars will appear above his head to signify which level of the attack has been charged. After releasing B, Geno will throw his hands downward in front of him, and ahead of him a large pillar of light will appear, about as large as Palutena’s up standard smash, one additional beam for each star that is charged. These pillars of light deal a string of DMG to opponents caught in the attack, and depending on how many stars are charged makes the pillars stay in effect longer. The beams deal no knockback, but can cancel out attacks and deal a string of DMG. If you charge for too long the stars will decrease until they are back down too one star.

Final Smash- Geno Flash- Geno flies to the front of the screen and in a flash of light transforms into a cannon! The cannon then goes off-screen and a large red target appears onscreen. Above the target is are three red stars, similar to his other smash attacks, press B to fire the Geno Flash. After firing the Geno Flash, an orb of light with a tiny face on it launches straight at wherever the center of the target was when B was pressed. After hitting the target spot, the face explodes dealing a string of DMG to opponents as the explosion gets bigger and bigger, working similar to how a smart bomb works. The three stars will count up and down multiple times quickly as you move around the target, pressing B will make the star it currently was charged at flash bright and determine the blast radius of the explosion. One red star is equal to the blast radius of a smart bomb, two red stars is equal to the radius of the Yellow Devil’s explosion, and three stars is equal to the blast radius of Jigglypuff’s final smash! However the stars go up and down in numbers very quickly, so targeting enemies and trying to focus on getting 3 stars can be difficult to multitask. The face in the explosion smiles triumphantly as it gets larger. After the blast is gone, Geno flies back down onto the stage with his arms crossed and re-enters the battle.

Taunt 1- Geno crosses his arms and looks at the camera, giving it a nod of approval.

Taunt 2- Geno floats above the ground and spins around victoriously.

Taunt 3- The Geno doll crumples to the ground with its mouth wide open, and Geno’s true form (a small star like creature) circles the doll before entering the mouth and giving the doll life again.

Defeat Pose- Geno looks down disappointed and claps reluctantly for the winner.

Victory Pose 1- A single spotlight illuminates Geno as he lifts his hands upward in victory before nodding at the camera.

Victory Pose 2- Geno crosses his arms and nods at the camera, similar to his victory animation in Mario RPG

Indeed it would make sense to see Geno use all his unique moves as Special Attacks in a Smash Bros. game.
